Alison Howship
Cagah Park Equestrian Manager
Alison has competed and taught for many years and was the sole instructor at their property Lakeview Lodge. Alison has trained with both International and Australian instructors gaining a comprehensive understanding of the skills required for all equestrian pursuits, although her primary passion is dressage , in which she has been classically trained. Alison has specialised in teaching beginners – both young and old - but also assisted more advanced riders when able. Alison’s passion and love for the sport shines through in her enthusiasm for introducing new riders to the classical basics of horse riding. Many students from Lakeview Lodge have ridden competitively at various levels, with some competing at National events.
Geoff Howship
Cagah Park Site Manager
Geoff, over the years, has become an expert at dealing with horses on the ground. Whilst he can ride and was classically trained, he chooses not to these days preferring to ensure the horses have the best manners. He is also the creator of all the wonderful amenities available at Cagah Park. His favourite comment from Alison is “I was thinking…” which translates into more work for him!
Caitlin Howship
Riding Instructor
Caitlin was born at Lakeview Lodge and was riding before she was born. Caitlin was put up on a horse at 6 weeks and really hasn’t been off since. She has been riding independently since she was less than 2 years old and has a natural ability with all horses. Caitlin has trained with both international and local instructors and is now campaigning the gorgeous gelding Divine Winds Fortitude. Caitlin is also a wonderful instructor and her love of the sport and the animals shines through in everything she does.
