Riding Instruction
Cagah Park Equestrian Centre offers quality riding instruction from beginners through to advanced riders. All riders must have an initial private assessment lesson and generally continue with private riding lessons until they are assessed as capable of moving to a group lesson. Cagah Park provides a range of quality horses for riding lessons, all individually equipped – or you can bring your own horse.
For the safety and wellbeing of our school horses our current weight limit for riders is set at 90kg. This may be revised in the future.
Our riding lessons are structured around the group concept, where learning is more enjoyable, particularly for the new rider.
Private lessons are also available.
Equine Cuddles and Conversations
Many people like to be around horses, but not necessarily riding. Horses are good listeners and they don’t back chat very much!
Cagah Park will be introducing Equine Cuddles & Conversations as an option for those who would like to or need to have some personal contact with horses (not riding). We will provide one of our school horses for a brush and maybe a walk, or just a chat.

Week Day Riding
Cagah Park provides riding instruction Tuesday to Saturday. Call us to arrange a suitable time.
Prices
Private Lessons $90.00 (1 hour)
Private Lessons $60.00 (30 mins)
Semi Private Lessons (2-3 riders) $70.00 (1 hour)
Group Lessons (4+ riders) $60.00 (1 hour)
Cuddles & Conversations $50.00 (30 mins)
Cagah Park will provide advance notice to students of clinics, specialist activities and holiday programs.
Cagah Park can also arrange high level instruction for advanced riders.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that life throws a curve ball now and then; however, we have many people wanting to book in for a lesson. If you need to cancel, we try to fit someone in from our waiting list. As such, we require at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. Failure to provide a minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation will incur a 50% fee. Failure to provide any notice will incur a full fee payment.
Please note: As we have a beautiful undercover arena we do not cancel lessons due to inclement weather. Reminder messages are a curtesy and do not relate to the cancellation policy. Please do not rely on them as your only means of reminder.
